Growth Retreat

Bro. Tomas, the main resource person, with his Charismatic personality & thought-provoking talks interspersed with group discussions, inspiring videos challenged the participants to move to next level. He elucidated that through his exemplary personal experiences and left a lasting impression in the hearts of most of those present there, as was evident at the end of the retreat. This retreat was in preparation for the Annual JY Convention in Delhi, Christ Café 2008 and there was a special Night Vigil on the last night before the end of the retreat in which the participants took turns in groups to be spend time in intercession for the Convention.

The topics covered were as varied as “Who is a believer” & “Managing your emotions” to “Understanding your sexuality” and culminated by throwing an open challenge to the participants to be not just servants but the “bond servants of Jesus”. At the end of the retreat many of the participants gave witness saying that they have taken firm decisions to implement the new insights they have received in their daily lives.
