Retreat

Dates: July 11-13
Venue: Don Bosco Provincial house, New Delhi
Resource Persons: Bro. Wilson, Vivek George & Joshi Mathew from Delhi
No.of  Participants: 30
Coordinator: Shaju K.J.

The best way to start the long awaited Weekend Training programme was with a good retreat and it undoubtedly turned out so. The 30 odd participants present were lead through the three days by Bro. Wilson, ably supported by Vivek George & Joshi Mathew. This retreat was designed to prepare the participants for all they could expect in the coming months through the Weekend Training programme and in turn enable themselves to be preachers. At the end of the retreat, the participants were briefed about the different modules envisaged for the flagship version of the Training programme and what all they could expect from the different modules of the programme.

Ist Module

Dates: Sept 12-13
Venue: Fr.Agnels School, New Delhi
Resource Persons: Bro. Wilson & Ashish Jacob from Delhi
Coordinator: Shaju K.J.

Just as it was promised & projected, this one-of-a-kind programme in its first module included sessions with dynamic power point presentations, lots of interesting video clippings, symbolic games and lot more.
It was also different from other JY programmes considering the fact that at the end participants were urged to do some homework and prepare a presentation on the specific facets of the life of Joseph when they come for the next module. Informal preparatory meetings for the same between participants were encouraged, so that they could come together and collectively study & prepare the presentations before the next module which would be in the last week of November.
